Yearly culinary event at the Vrijthof square in Maastricht. This event counts each year about 150.000 visitors and will centre around Europe in 2007.
The first United Nations of Film festival will be held in collaboration with the Filmtheater Lumiere in the cross-cultural city of Maastricht, The Netherlands from 27th - 28th of July 2007. 
More than 2000 entrepreneurs and managers from all over Europe will visit Maastricht in 2007. They will be doing this within the framework of the European Congress of the Junior Chamber International (JCI). During this congress the members of the JCI will have the opportunity to participate in meetings, trainings and workshops. They will also have the chance to get to know each other and the city of Maastricht.

B the change will be visiting Maastricht at the beginning of 2007. B thechange wants to inspire young people in the Netherlands to take action and make the world a better place. Or in the words of Mahatma Gandhi: ‘Be the change you want to see in this world’. For this reason a big meeting will be organised in the MECC on 20 January 2007.
As an artist Guus van Eck has strongly contributed to the European Image of the city of Maastricht. The exhibition will be opened on 8 december 2006 in the 'Spaans Gouvernement at the Vrijthof. From Saturday 9 december 2006 the exhibition can be visited by public.
